I just implemented this. :)

&lt;p&gt;
The idea is that a format escape like &lt;code&gt;%'foo's&lt;/code&gt;
applies &lt;code&gt;foo&lt;/code&gt;-quotation to the generated text.
(&lt;code&gt;%r&lt;/code&gt; also supports this)
